Everyday objects: amplified, sorted and arranged. Surprisingly relevant, even though recorded a year ago.

The idea sort of rose as a counter to Andrew Huang's method of sampling where samples usually are more or less sets of pitches to be extracted and manipulated. I wanted to highlight the samples themselves and let them tell a collective story. In fairness Andrew has talked about the subject later on and expanded on his methods, but I still wanted to give the samples center stage as they are.

I also wanted to eschew human sounds, to create a whole microcosm of objects in interaction. There are a few slip-ups which can be detected, but there is no perfect art and the original files are long lost. I also time stretched one of the samples, which I would change if I were to go back.
