This album arose from the feelings around Pride this year. The feeling of helplessness, powerlessness and grief to historical and ongoing animosity towards the LGBTQIA+ community, from the personal to the systemic. The album ended up becoming quite minimal, a raw nerve that expresses these emotions in the simplest, most straight forwardly emotional way I could put them in.
