"Etana was inspired by a walk I had with my dog. It was raining heavily, but it was bright and summery. I was listening to a doom jazz album and I saw a snail ran over by a bike, it's body distorted across the road. I wanted to write a Burroughsian song about the human-bug experience and the ghosts of non-human entities. This track was titled as Pest Extermination Jazz for the majority of the creation of the music and for the most part, it's made with a few tape loops cascading over each other."

SLUG ALONG A ROADSIDE
I've shot the snails from the beyond for three days. My film worn out and I don't think I can hold them for much longer.
